Spinning Probability

Walt: solve statistics problem.

This activity was very complex. I found this was a little bit difficult. I think I need more practise on this particular part of maths, if I need to get to the next level in Maths. My teacher made a good decision putting this game on our classroom site.

Fine Candies

Walt: solve statistics problem.

This game was easy peasy. The aim of the game is to feed the people with the right amount of candy. There was absolutely nothing in this game that was difficult. What I would like to learn next is the same like this but with bigger numbers.

Probability

Walt: solve the problem.

This activity was simple. It was easy because all you had to do was to look which coloured blocks shows the most. There was nothing challenging about this game. What I would would like to practise more on is box and whiskers.

Walt: Exploring probability

This activity was pretty simple actually. All I had to do was was roll dice and record it on the spreadsheet. It was not hard at all.

Box and whiskers

Walt: solve the problem.

I didn’t know what box and whiskers was, until I played this game. At first I struggled to understand what was the percentage for and weird figure shown above. But after awhile I got used to it a little bit. I still need more practising on this box and whiskers.

Valentine

Walt: discuss the problems and solutions in sequence.
Valentine

The first problem Robbie thought that Karen didn’t like him therefore didn’t want to be his valentine. Robbie realised this when he saw Karen with a boy named Brett Harvey, who was really cool and popular were talking. He could not believe it, he thought that she was crazy. Robbie saw that Karen was grinning and knew that there was something more than a conversation.

At the end of the day, Karen was at the stop waiting. Robbie just came across her, so he decided to walk home instead of going on the bus. The reason is that Robbie just didn’t want to see her after that declaration in class with Brett. But Karen gave Robbie an envelope. And inside was a card saying, “ To Robbie, happy valentine ”. Robbie was completely gob smacked.

Milk in schools

Walt: share my thoughts on “milk in schools”.
Milk in schools

I believe that children do need milk. Milk, is considered one of the world’s most “complete foods” and also the richest source of calcium. Calcium is great to keep the bones strong and healthy. Also it’s other health benefits is, it’s great for the teeth because it does not cause tooth decay therefore is a great drink for in between meals. You got to do the best for a child so that particular child could grow to be a healthy adult.

I strongly believe that the government shouldn't responsible for supplying children with milk. The government is not responsible for children PARENTS are. Children are the parents number one priority under any circumstances. When parents have a child they commit themselves to clothe, feed and love that child for it’s whole life.

In conclusion, governments shouldn't be responsible for supplying children milk in low decile schools. Parents number one responsibility is their children.

Cross country

Walt: write a rap/poem.

Cross country

Once again it is here
Oh my gosh oh dear
This tiring sport known as ‘cross country’
makes me feel so angry

You are so nasty, naughty in every single way
Almost as hard as an essay
You are so long, muddy and full of junk
You’re just a big fat punk

Your figure is so strange
Isn’t it such a strain?
You make kids sweaty and smelly
But you’re good for the belly

You make my legs ache so badly
That I cry sometimes so sadly
My arms jiggle and wiggle
Just looking at it makes me giggle
